The Kampung Melayu Urban Village office, Jatinegara, East Jakarta has set up a 4x6-square-meter disaster post and has started operating today, on Thursday (10/15).
Kampung Melayu Urban Village Head Setiawan said the post that made two weeks ago was guarded by ten joint personnel from Satpol PP, PPSU and police's security and public order officers (Bimaspol/Bhabinkamtibmas).

"This is done for faster handling," he expressed.
He added, to support the work of personnel in carrying out disaster response, the post was also equipped with infrastructure, ranging from maps of flood-prone locations, information on evacuation locations, picket schedules for post officers and various appeals for the public.
There were also 50 units of life vests, one rubber boat, one unit of fiber boat, 30 units of ring buoy and rope.
"In addition, there are four generator units, two mobile pump units and other infrastructure," he stated.
